All you have to do for a weekend trip is to hitch the trailer up and go. There is no fooling around with tents or hotel rooms.
The price of gasoline is unfortunatly a factor today, but I still find
that towing your RV is more inexpensive than driving and renting a
hotel room for trips to around 250 miles or less.
You can also eat the food directly from your own refrigerator in your
RV, instead of eating out at your destination alone, for a huge cost
savings.
The possibilites available to you when you have your own RV are endless
Rving in college is not all sacrifice. Its actually tons of fun! Owning and living in a RV in
college gives you the opportunity to travel with money that would
otherwise be vanishing into apartment rent. Imagine going on a weekend
trip to a state park, another city, the lake, or tailgating at an away
college football game in your RV. There is no packing to do, no hotels
to reserve, and no schedules to stick to.
