Unfortunatly for me, when I bought my trailer, I did not know to check for roof leaks before signing on the dotted line. Sure enough, the first rainstorm hit, and I was putting pots and pans in the trailer to catch the leaks coming from the roof of my trailer.

Fortunatly for me, the roof of my travel trailer had not been leaking very long, as there was no structural damage done to the trailer. The frame of my trailer is made of aluminum, so its structural integrity remained intact.
Imagine my suprise when I called the local rv dealership and explained to them that I needed a new roof. I was quoted over $3000 dollars. Being a college student, i was ready to sell the travel trailer at a loss right there. Then, as I was doing some research on the internet, I stumbled across a product called Liquid Roof. It clamed that it could be rolled on the top of my existing rubber roof with a paint roller, it could resist cracking in the harsh Texas sun, and that it would eliminate ponding water.
I was skeptical, but not having any other choice I bought 2 gallons of Liquid Roof at $90 per gallon. The directions state that there is no primer needed, all you have to do is clean the roof before applying. The roof was cleaned with alcohol, and then the liquid rubber was rolled on. It takes a few days to fully cure, but is waterproof immediatly.
I used more than the reccommended amount on my trailers roof. The seams where the roof meets the side of the trailer were also coated.
The next rainstorm had me filled with anticipation to see if the coating worked. Sure enough, there were no more leaks. Since then, the trailer has been in numerous heavy rainstorms, hail, multiple 5+ inch snowfalls, ice storms, driving rain on the freeway, and many dust storms.
I have even had a medium sized tree limb drop on the roof of the trailer during an ice storm. The coating has never once let me down.

If you have a leaky roof, this product is well worth it.
