One of the first questions that people have for me when I tell them that I live in a RV is "How do you get TV?" and "Where do you put the TV in such a small space?".
To recieve TV in your RV, you have two main options: Subscribing to satellite TV service or recieving TV programming over the air on a plain old TV antenna.
The monthly cost of satellite TV is between $35-$50 depending on how many channels you want to recieve.
Many times a satellite company will include the satellite box and the dish free with a one or two year contract. The only thing an RVer needs to buy is a tripod to stand the dish up outside of the RV. With a satellite dish, all the channels you are used to recieving at your stick and brick home will be available to you from your satellite dish.

If you are not a TV buff, recieving TV programming by a regular antenna could be the best choice for you. If you have a TV capable of recieving digital signals, you will find that over the air television today is quite good. In many cases you can recieve broadcasts in High Definition Quality with 5.1 Channel sound for free over-the-air due to the United States government mandate that all over the air television broadcasts must be in Digital Signal by February 17, 2009. I currently use a regular antenna to watch television programming, but I am not much for watching TV.
